So with the upcoming dreaded school year, I think we all need to think of the positive. The sooner school starts, the sooner it can be over. And hey, it can't be that bad going back to school! You get to see all your friends you did not get to see during the summer! But I do understand the stress of the homework and drama that school can give to students! Believe me, I have been through many years of it, and am on to my final year! But I have survived, and so can you! And one way you can survive by.....is in STYLE! That's right gal's, we are going to completely revamp our style and look good this year, so lets do this!
The First Day of School Outfit Drama
So through the many years of school, I have learned quite a few tips that will definitely help you make the outfit organizing drama a bit less scary and stressful. So first, as much as you might want to wear those high heels, you might want to rethink it. Especially if they are new shoes. The last thing that a girl would want is a painful blister as they are trying to hustle to all their classes and not be late. And what if you get lost!! I do not think that a 4 inch heel is a good idea. Rather, go for the 2 inch heel that is bearable and cute! Who knew?!? And girls, there are plenty of cute sandals and flats out there to fit your outfit needs. Now, second, wear something that you will remember! And that other people will remember too! Now, personally, most of my first days are a blur (only because there is so much going on). But I always have remembered my outfit! It is good to make a good first impression with all of your teachers and peers, and if you are a freshmen, even more so! And third, wear something that you will be comfortable in. This can tie back into the shoe talk we just had, but I am also talking about your skirt or dress that you might wear. You will be hustling around the school all day looking for your classes, and I'm sure you would not like to be wearing the tightest skirt around! Who know's if it would rip! AHH! So let us not even take that risk!
What About Everyday School Outfits?
This is a piece of cake! You do not have to go out and buy a whole new wardrobe for the school year. As much as we would all like to, it is unnecessary, and our wallets will not like it. So rather, revamp the clothes that you already have. If you want to make them your own, put studs on them, or draw a design on them. Make them unique and your own. Or, you could always start pairing different shirts with different bottoms. This is the key to having your own unique style. Take a risk. This is the time of your life to define yourself and your personality. And doing so through fashion is a great place to start.
SOME GREAT STORES FOR PRICE FRIENDLY CLOTHES!
✿Target http://www.target.com/c/juniors-women/-/N-5ouvk#?lnk=gnav_women_1_34&intc=736560|null Target has great variety as well as great prices. Do not miss out...especially on their Juniors section!
✿Forever 21 http://www.forever21.com/Product/Main.aspx?br=f21 Forever 21 also has amazing variety and amazing prices. This is always my go to store when the back to school shopping time comes around. They also have the most amazing accessories for wonderful prices. Check it out!
✿Brandy Melville http://www.brandymelvilleusa.com/ Brandy Melville is a store that I would describe as rebellious boho chic. This store has some very cute pieces, and they prices for accessories are great too! ($4 rings....WHAT!!??!!...its true!)
✿American Eagle http://www.ae.com/web/browse/hp_womens.jsp?catId=womens&navAction=jump American Eagle really has turned their style around. It is very boho now, and that is very in. I love American Eagle. Although they have some pricier items, they always have great sales.
✿H&M http://www.hm.com/us/department/LADIES H&M is such a very chic clothing line, and it is hard not to go into that store and want to buy everything. But what is great about this store is that they have some very price conscious items. And the quality is un-beatable. I got a very well made blazer from them that has last me 2 years (and still going strong) and it was only in the realm of about $35! Check them out, you won't regret it!

Have a Good Year
The biggest thing about dressing for school is have fun and express your self. Don't let what other people say about you change you. 10 years down the road, you will have forgotten all about them, and you will be the bigger and better person, and living your days to the fullest. And they will be the ones regretting not having the guts to wear the amazing outfits you did. So stay true to yourself, study (haha), and HAVE FUN!!!
