Packing for a trip can tend to be stressful! Especially if you are packing for a whole week or more! But of course, there are many tips that I can give you to help this situation! Just keep reading to get the down low on stress free packing!
TIPS: -Always keep in mind where you are going to. If the weather is warm be sure to bring the proper clothing (shorts, tank tops), and if there is a possibility of swimming always have a bathing suit on hand! But even if the location you are going to is warm, be sure to bring just one light jacket that could keep you warm. Weather is unpredictable. And if you are going to a cool location, bring the proper jackets, gloves, pants, and of course...SHOES! No one would want to be caught in the snow in flats!
-Pack lightly. This, I KNOW, is going to be hard for some people. But really think about you are taking. For instance, if you are taking two pairs of sandals of the same color, and you could wear them with the same outfit, ditch one of them. Odds are, you will be wearing one more than the other on the trip anyway, so why waste the space...so don't.
-Take advantage of the travel size products that they have virtually anywhere. (Drugstores, Target, Walmart) These small sized products save so much space.
-MAKE A LIST! I really like to be organized, but even if you don't I would say try this out. It really lets you put down what you are thinking about taking, and then take the list to your suitcase and pack quickly and effectively. This the most helpful step for me.

What my Bag Consists Off
I typically only use a big roller suitcase when going on an airplane to a destination for a week. This is my general rule because I am pretty capable of slimming down the amount of clothing and personal items that I take when not going on an airplane. I will be leaving tomorrow to visit family for 8 days, but even so, I am only going to pack a large duffel bag. Mine is from Vera Bradley. It is called the Large Duffel. They do not sell the same print that I got mine in, but this one looks extremely similar. I am such a fan of this duffel! It is HUGE and holds so much. I fit my personal items: 8 outfits, 4 work out ensembles, shoes, a hair dryer, and hair straightener. Check it out! http://www.verabradley.com/product/Color/Lilli-Bell/Large-Duffel/154786/defaultColorVariantId/179979/pc/639/c/0/sc/980/p/154786.uts They even have large duffels like this for sale in many other patterns that I'm sure will meet your fancy.

For my personal items carrier I also use a Vera Bradley product. It is the Hanging Organizer. This has 4 compartments that will fit all of your personal items. I put my body wash, hair products, contacts, lotion, skin care products, razor, and dental products in this and they fit wonderfully! This also cleans easily because the compartments are lined with plastic. Again, the exact pattern I have is no longer sold but this is a new favorite pattern of mine. Lastly, I need somewhere that I can store my makeup for travel. I am completely fine with just the average makeup bag. Again, this is when I needed to really reflect on the amount of products I was taking with me. It is not worth taking three lip sticks of extreme similar color. My makeup bag is one that I got for Christmas from Victoria's Secret, which they do not have anymore. But Target has some amazing and cute makeup bags. http://www.target.com/p/contents-foldover-clutch-bag-stripes/-/A-14460608#prodSlot=medium_1_14
Bags like this hold so much and clean very easily. And for my makeup brushes, I have a MAC brush bag that I also received for Christmas. But again, Target supplies some of the best brush bags. Check one out here - - http://www.target.com/p/sonia-kashuk-tile-print-makeup-organizer/-/A-14331931#prodSlot=medium_2_16 This can hold all your eyeshadow brushed, face brushes, and tweezers.
✮Always remember that you could interchange some of the more expensive bags for great quality bags that can be found at Target, Marshall's, and TJ Maxx. These stores have all of the goods that you will need. But these bags were just what work for me. Great suitcases for travel on airplanes can also be found at all of these stores.
Use my tips and I promise that packing will become easier. And enjoy your travels.
