Alrighty, so with school back in full swing, and the weather starting to cool down, you know what is in our futures....FALL! Now, now, do not cry! Fall can be fun! Especially where I live, the leaves change to the most beautiful colors, and the temperature outside is comfortable enough to wear just jeans and a shirt...no jacket! Well, that is until it starts into November...then the chill rolls in. I think the main reason that people dislike the transition into fall is because everything is powering back up: school, work, sports, and activities. But lets look to the positive! There are so many options for outfits in the fall. You can work a skirt or jeans...and feel comfortable in the weather. So I thought I would give you some of my preparation items for the fall....let's roll!!
☆Clothes☆
....yes, every girls dream. Clothes! I know that this is one of my favorite times to shop for clothes. There always seems to be so many options at all of the stores. But there are some definite upcoming items that will be considered a 'must have' for the fall. First, a sweater is always a wise idea! Especially for a chilly day, or even a chilly classroom! UGH. Those are the worst, but hey, we will conquer the chill in fashion. My favorite sweaters this season are the super over sized and slouchy ones! They will go great with jeans, or even a skirt! Check out this one. ➢ http://www.forever21.com/Product/Product.aspx?BR=f21&Category=sweater&ProductID=2000128999&VariantID= This is from Forever 21! It is henley material so it is going to be warm and comfortable...and at a price of $17.80, you can't beat it! My inspiration was this $148 sweater from free people.
Another clothing item would be just a good pair of black jeans! Black jeans are so versatile, and go with EVERYTHING! I wore a pair last year all the time, and have recruited them back for this year. http://www.ae.com/web/browse/product.jsp?productId=0432_8318_001&catId=cat1990002 ... this pair from American Eagle are comfortable...and not too tight. Personally, I never got on with the super tight jeans. These stretch and fit very nicely. I highly recommend them.
Okay now.....how could I ever forget shoes! I couldn't! HA. So I figure everyone should know that they need to have a nice pair of boots for the fall, to warm up them tootsies. But we shall not neglect the classic flat/loafer that makes any look chic and comfortable! And these shoes are the right price. I like the whole loafer trend going on right now, and I figure....let's jump on this bandwagon. http://oldnavy.gap.com/browse/product.do?cid=55148&vid=1&pid=645684032 These $24 loafers from Old Navy are the signature loafer that any girl should have. They price is right, they are comfortable, and there are so many colors to choose from. I got grey, but they also offer red, black, and a tan/sand color. Go on and take a gander!
And for the Beauty...
And no fall preparation would be complete without some beauty items. My first item (well technically two) are just items that we need to use in advance for this upcoming season. Especially with winter around the corner from fall! So, everyone knows that the cooler weather results in much drier skin...so let's fix that problem right now! My go to body skin moisturizer is the Jergen's Original scented body lotion. (the original scent is Almond Cherry...it is so good) I have extremely sensitive skin, and this fragrance does not irritate my skin one bit! However, if you are weary of the scent, they also offer many sensitive skin options. But Jergen's really is one of my favorite body lotion brands because the lotion absorbs and replenishes the skin right away. Plus, you can pick this up at any drugstore nearest to you. And then my second moisturization product is a face moisturizer. Personally, my skin gets extremely dry around this time of year, and the best moisturizer I have tried has been the Cetaphil Moisturizing Lotion. This stuff is amazing, and has no fragrance and is dermatologist tested. It is so good for dry skin and it does not leave the face oily....always a plus! But since my skin is so dry, I also use (and recommend) the Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream. This cream is much thicker than the lotion, but it definitely does a better job at moisturizing the skin instantly. I use it on my eyelids and my nose. (These are the places I get the most dry)
And lastly, I shall request an eye liner for you. This eyeliner that I am going to recommend is one of my favorites, and I especially like it for the fall. Mostly because of the color and the intense staying power. It is the Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in the color Demolition. This color is like a dark expresso brown. This is smudge-able for a smokey eye, or very smooth and consistent for a solid liner look. The color is really what made me request this product. Personally, I like a more brown look going into the fall...I really think that it just warms up the entire face. And this eye liner really allows this to be possible for the fall. Now, this is a rather pricey product, so for a good substitute I will recommend the Unstoppable Eyeliner by Maybelline in Cinnabar. This color and product will give the same warmth to your face! Try out some new looks for fall....BE FEARLESS.
Hope you liked a few of my recommendations....and have a good start to fall!
